in a church service
Prayer
At Heritage Pentecostal, every service is focused around prayer. This helps prepare our hearts, invite God’s Spirit to move in our service and build our faith. We begin and end every service with prayer and expect powerful things to happen.
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face… then will I hear from heaven…”– 2 Chron. 7:14
Worship
We believe in Biblical, dynamic worship at Heritage Pentecostal church. You’ll hear anointed music and singing, see us clap our hands, lift our voices, and dance before the Lord in heartfelt praise. Our worship is done not out of performance, but because He deserves it.

Preaching
Our preaching is dynamic and bold, presenting life-changing Biblical truths through Spirit-led, anointed messages that challenge you to grow deeper and reach higher. Expect to be inspired and motivated to step outside your comfort zone, embrace transformation, and experience the true power and joy of salvation in Jesus Christ.

You’ll find plenty of free parking spaces in our large parking lot that surrounds our church building. Once you park, head to one of the doors located at the front of the building, where one of our friendly greeters will be there to welcome you and help get you settled in for the church service.

On behalf of the Heritage Pentecostal Church family, I welcome you warmly! We are a community of believers striving to answer the need for a dynamic, Spirit-filled church in the Pierce County area, and we would love to get to know you better.
I first came to the South Puget Sound region during a three-year military assignment—and quickly developed a deep love for the area.
After moving away, I was invited back to Tacoma to serve in the ministry as the pastor of Heritage Pentecostal Church. Now, more than 20 years later, my passion for this community and its people has only grown stronger.
We passionately believe and teach the Apostle’s (Apostolic) doctrine and the New Testament New Birth (Pentecostal) experience of repentance, water baptism in Jesus’ name for the remission of sins, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38).
